The transportation program meets two main categories of mobility need in our rural communities:
1. Essential or life sustaining trips to nutrition sites, medical services, social services, shopping, banking and other necessary errands.
2. Quality of life or life enhancing trips - recreational or social trips that enable our riders to fully participate and engage in the community, volunteer opportunities, health promotion activities, visits to spouses or other family or friends in long term care facilities.
A Fleet of handicapped accessible buses and vans operate through the senior centers to provide transportation services to seniors and persons with disabilities living in our rural communities where access to transportation is more restricted than for those living in urban communities.
